Who we are
De La Sol Senior Care Consulting, LLC was built on a foundation that spans generations.
Long before consulting, training programs, or frameworks, there was a simple belief passed down through our family:
Take care of people the right way — with dignity, patience, and heart.
That belief began with my grandmother, Azzie Lee Parker, who opened a small board and care home to serve those in need. What started as a six-bed home became something much greater — a place where people were treated like family.
My father, Cal Thomas Parker, carried that vision forward, expanding operations while maintaining the same core principle:
care should never lose its humanity.
He worked closely with mental health services and built programs that allowed individuals to remain in the community, even when their needs were complex. He later developed specialized dementia care services, supporting residents with behavioral challenges that many systems struggled to manage.
I grew up watching all of this unfold.
I didn’t just learn what care looked like —
I learned what it felt like.
From Experience to Expertise
Over the years, that foundation became my life’s work.
I’ve led assisted living communities.
I’ve overseen memory care programs.
I’ve supported families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
I’ve helped facilities become compliant while improving delivery of care services.
And I’ve trained teams who were doing their best — but needed structure, clarity, and support.
Through those experiences, one thing became clear:
Good intentions are not enough.
Care requires structure.
Leadership requires clarity.

That mission led to the development of the SOLACE Care Framework — a structured, trauma-informed approach designed to help care teams deliver more consistent, person-centered care.
